As far as I know, a person's face must be uncovered here in Canada when immigrants become Canadian citizens and for their driver's licence. Shouldn't be any different where the Canadian court of law is concerned? Keep in mind, it's Not Sharia...but Canadian court of law.

The Supreme Court of Canada ruled in a split decision that niqabs will be allowed on the witness stand in some cases and not in others, leaving it up trial judges to decide on a case-by-case basis.

The question about whether niqabs should be allowed in court was raised in a criminal case against two Muslim men who had been accused of sexually assaulting a female relative.
The men requested she remove her niqab when testifying against them, essentially claiming that not being able to see their accuser’s face stripped them of their right to a fair trial. The woman said her religious belief forbade her from revealing her face to men who were not family members.
After weighing the issue, the trial judge declared that her religious belief was "not that strong" and that she should remove the niqab when she testified. She appealed the ruling up the ladder until it arrived at the Supreme Court.

BUT, what if same said law demands that, in order to 'face our accusers', the accused must forego traditional customs - such as wearing a 'face covering' aka 'niqab' to adhere to COUNTRY laws?
The way I see it, this particular case is 'subject' to our country law and should be as such. It's NOT Sharia law.

i think we are going to experience a rapid climate change and how we deal with it will determine our future........i believe that in the past our ancient civilizations went thru climate changes and were not aware of what was going on and panicked.........i think they died because they were fighting each other and not sharing resources. i think we are on the same path.......we will need to work together, but we probably wont unless enough people were aware. i think people live in a sense of normalcy and dont expect anything to ever happen in their lives.......i could be wrong.
also i was thinking.......what if the mayans knew about these types of rapid climate changes and thats all they were trying to say?
then i thought.....what if those catholics added the shit in the bible about astronomy and astrology being evil because they didnt want us to have any knowledge of future events for some power thing...idk....just random thoughts i get.
