Islamist extremists radicalizing Canadians at ‘a large number of venues,’ secret report reveals
Just for the Canadians. Not really. It concerns every free society blessed with a minority they are scared shitless of. That includes the whole Western world. Just pointing out that north of the border is probably worse off because their whiners are louder than ours.
This report apparently focuses on where Muslims are "radicalized," rather than on the much more important question of how -- probably because investigating the latter would take Canadian authorities straight into the Qur'an and Sunnah, which is the one place they don't want to go. Jihadists make recruits among peaceful Muslims by claiming that they are the exponents of authentic Islam, and making their case from core Islamic texts. The "moderates" have never mounted any effective rejoinder to this appeal. But to admit this would be to contradict central elements of Canadian immigration policy and the entire multiculturalist enterprise. And so we get this report on where, but never ever discuss the really important questions.

if this is saying that the fda is just now going to inspect food and tighten regs on our stuff, wtf have they been doing so far? they claim that we dont already have measures in place that reduce the amount of tainted food sent to market, but i thought the purpose of their existence was this from the beginning? wtf have we been eating if they claim the food hasnt been safe since 1938? whatever they are doing, its costing us another million to do it.
i don't see why we don't have e-voting with some way for voters to verify their vote was counted, would probably reduce voter fraud...people could login with their ssn and their ip address would be logged, send a verification via text or email, done and done.
From 2000 to 2010, more than 20 states passed castle doctrine and stand-your-ground laws. These laws expand the legal justification for the use of lethal force in self-defense, thereby lowering the expected cost of using lethal force and increasing the expected cost of committing violent crime. This paper exploits the within-state variation in self-defense law to examine their effect on homicides and violent crime. Results indicate the laws do not deter burglary, robbery, or aggravated assault. In contrast, they lead to a statistically significant 8 percent net increase in the number of reported murders and non-negligent manslaughters.
